How KWAC works

Where your money goes

On the price of the goods, not counting delivery:

  • 70% goes to the child's business.
  • 15% keeps KWAC running.
  • 15% is set aside for a cause the children choose.

Money set aside for a cause is not the same as money given to one. We show both figures separately and never call the first the second.

Delivery

Door-to-door delivery is priced for each order. The standard charge is R150 for your order, however many places it is posted from, and free once your order comes to R1,500 or more. Three things from three different children in three different places still cost one charge of R150. For now we hold your items for up to 48 hours while KWAC approves a courier quote. You see the full amount before paying, and have two hours to pay once the quote is approved.

If something is wrong

If an item is faulty, damaged, not what you ordered or not as described, we refund it in full including the delivery, and we pay to get it back. If you change your mind within seven days of receiving it, you can send it back at your own cost and we refund the price and the original delivery.

You deal with KWAC for all of this, never with a child.

How we keep children safe

  • You buy from KWAC, never from a child directly.
  • A parent approves every price and every listing, and KWAC approves it after that.
  • Messages stay on this site. A parent or KWAC answers you, never a child alone.
  • We never publish a child's photograph, surname, school or address.
  • Nothing is ever posted to you from a child's home address.
